Lichfield Sandwood 4+2
(Sleeping Capacity 4 persons)

The Tent
The
Lichfield Sandwood 4+2
Our first new tent for many years, We liked the design and the space even though there are just 2 of us. Just had 3 nights at Cayton village site with sun high winds and 6 hours heavy rain on one day!! a good test for any tent.

First putting it up, it took us 25mins, not bad as I am a blind 57 year not very fit man, the wife is a lot younger, but a natural blond!!!! just put 2 bedrooms up, one to sleep in, one for the loo and storage. Loads of room, loads of hight. Very easy to fit in all our tons of stuff.

In the wind the fiber poled areas of the tent flex quite a lot, put a couple of extra guy ropes on to minimise this, the steel poled area is solid as a rock. Would say that in the sun it gets very hot, we have rolled the side doors up at night so we don't wake up sweaty. In the rain, a bit poor, it leaked on both seams below the steel poles, and in two corners ( am hoping that this is just the fabric proofing itself, if not its bad enough to complain about.

Verdict
Overall we love the design, and if the leaky bit cures itself then we will take it on the Europe trip planned for next year, We paid 257 for it, don't think I would be as happy if we had paid some of the daft prices we saw it at.
