Vango Juno 300 Tepee
(Sleeping Capacity 3 persons)

The Tent
Recent years have seen a sharp increase in the market for Tepee style accommodation. In a variety of colours and patterns, the Juno Tepee offers visual harmony to the festival goer who wants to stand out from the crowd. Ok, so that’s the official blurb but is it just a kiddies toy?, read on,,,,, I purchased this thinking it was one step above a kiddies play tent but how wrong was I?. Vango have put some good features into this tent to ensure it’s taken seriously in the leisure market. Ok, so you wouldn’t want to pitch it on a mountain top but I left it overnight in 25mph winds and rain and it didn’t leak or budge one iota. Yes, it could be used as a kids play tent in the garden but also for light summer camping and festivals. At the price (£45 for the Juno 300 and £69 for the Juno 500) you could throw it away after a festival but weighing in at only 3.75kb, 5 minutes to pitch and the cool colour options then that would be a travesty……. more expensive backpacking tents weigh more, take longer to pitch and don’t look at cool!!! Only drawbacks are, and I am nick picking for the price, it’s single skinned and the centre pole is a bit light so could easily be knocked out of place by some heavy, hairy drunken festival goer diving into the tent but……….“It’s cool man”
